Good morning Stefania, tell us a little bit about your store?
My parents had a furniture store also in Milan, then we in January 1999 opened a store here in Via Poliziano in Milan that specialized in bedding. Then we began to collaborate with Dorsal, thanks also to the relationship of trust established with Dorsal employees, and since then we have continued to choose Dorsal for bed bases (with legs), mattresses and pillows.

Can you describe your showroom a little bit?
This is a store of about 150 square meters divided into two floors. It is located in a central area of Milan near Corso Sempione. We have been in the market for many years now so we are a very well known and reliable business.
Which products do you most recommend?
Certainly all Dorsal anatomical bed bases (with legs) are excellent, in particular we sell well the Sana bed base, Super but also more particular products such as Human. Then there are the mattresses, all of which are excellent.The ones we recommend are especially the I Contemporanei line, which is really liked for the feeling of support and the really good value for money. But in the showroom we also have products of the most high-end such as Antares, Soleil,Etoile...
Has it ever occurred to you to recommend a Dorsal product to someone with health issues, posture..
Yes, often. Sometimes customers come back to thank us for recommending Dorsal to them. Many times it happens to us that they duplicate the purchase, that is, years later they come back to buy the same or a similar Dorsal product because they liked it or they also want to have it for a second home. Many recommend the Dorsal products we sell to friends and relatives, generating word of mouth.
Do you provide any particular services?
Free home deliveries all over Milan. In addition, we are very flexible. We try to put ourselves at the service of the customer, in special cases of health we also provided the service of mattress testing for one night.
How are you currently experiencing the post Covid-19 emergency situation?
The Best Seller promotion has given us a helping hand during this period. And I must say that several people have come to us to buy a new mattress thanks to the Dorsal promotion active until July 31. In the store, all regulations regarding the fight against the spread of the Coronavirus are respected. We also guarantee the testing of bed Systems, providing medical certified anti-virus disposable sheets. We sanitized the store with specific products, installed Amuchina totem, gloves for our customers, disinfectant gel in the Pos payment area. We disinfect the desk and chairs at the end of the consultation with each client. In general we see that those who enter our store feel cozy and comfortable so we are not experiencing any particular difficulties with our customers whom we thank for their trust in us.
The Barbieri Materassi store is located at Via Poliziano, 8 in Milan. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Mondays from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
