Our direct production chain allows us to design and directly manufacture bed bases, mattresses, beds and pillows as one synergistic system, designed to take care of your body and mind, night after night.
Each element works to support the spine and fit the body's natural curves. This synergy and the direct production of each Bed System component make the Dorsal proposal unique.
Mattress
Thanks to the use of excellent materials and careful craftsmanship, our mattresses perfectly support the body according to its weight and anatomical shape. They work in synergy with the slatted base and harmonise load and pressure distribution.
Bed base (with legs)
In a quality bed system, the bed base is essential for the proper functioning of the mattress and support of the structure. Our bed bases, in synergy with mattresses, provide dedicated comfort zones for every part of the body. Multilayer beech guarantees strength and reliability to our anatomical bed bases.
Pillow
The pillow is the complement for true relaxation. It must properly support, without compressing, and relax the cervical vertebrae, muscles and nerve pathways involved. The wide range of pillows we make naturally fits different needs.

Dedication to well-being translates into an ongoing commitment to research and development. We conduct rigorous tests, such as those conducted at the Catas Testing Laboratory, using advanced technologies such as the Body Pressure Measurement System. This allows us to analyze body pressure distribution and refine our systems to ensure maximum relief and support.
Super bed base tested for 400kg
The Dorsal Super bed base underwent official CATAS testing with a load of 400kg, in both static and dynamic conditions, for a cycle of 1000 smooth continuous motions. It passed the tests brilliantly, being outstanding in resistance and durability, according to the international technical standard IEC 60601-2-52:2009 + AMD1:2015, par. BB.2.4, Mod. MRA.
Body Pressure Measurement System on mattresses, bed bases and pillows
Using advanced technologies such as the Body Pressure Measurement System, mattresses, bed bases and pillows were tested on subjects of different weights and stature (56 kg, 75 kg, 100 kg), in supine and side positions and monitoring head, shoulders, back, pelvis, thighs, calves and feet. Thanks to their excellent characteristics, the tests were passed, obtaining the Catas certificate, a warranty for the buyer that they have an effective, safe and durable product.
Stress tests on mattresses and bed bases
A series of stress tests were carried out at Catas laboratories on Dorsal products such as mattresses and bed bases. Passed brilliantly, they enabled the company to obtain Catas certificates, a warranty of a safe, effective and long-lasting product.
Innovative rest since 1932
Since 1932 Dorsal has been renewing the concept of well-being night after night. First in Italy to introduce bed bases in 1977, mattresses made with raw materials from renewable sources in 2005 and the patented Tubes® technology. For three generations, the Moretti family has been leading the evolution of rest with passion, research and continuous innovation.

Bliss motorised slatted base
The most innovative solution on the market in terms of both the range of customized versions and the comfort features offered. The programmable positions, the comodity of light, the app and the preset buttons of Zero Gravity and Anti-Snore make the Bliss technology motorised slatted bases (with legs) a real novelty. All at the touch of a button to give you a new lifestyle, improve your sleep experience and wake up refreshed and rested, ready to face a new day. You can choose from materials, motorized slatted base or in steel and between sizes, queen-size motorised slatted base, single motorised slatted base or oversized bed bases. Our motorised slatted bases (with legs) are made with advanced technologies, certified as medical devices and available in different configurations with multiple motors and movement sections.
Zefiro wooden bed bases
The anatomical bed base that uses, as an alternative to traditional slats, the complex patented Tubes® system. Zefiro bed bases combine the resistance and elastic resilience of multilayer slats / multilayer wood, with the high density and resilience of Tubes® tubular elements. A high performance synergy for a balanced and uniform base that stimulates the best performance of the whole. Like a continuous breath Tubes® technology gives the whole bed System, a feeling of comfort and coolness for a perfect microclimate.
Human Wooden bed bases
The first line of slat supports that perfectly fit different human builds. The models in the line meet different needs, in relation to people's weight, morphology and ages. The Human® line has received the Certification Test from the German Ergonomic Institute for Research on Innovative and Ergonomic Products (IGR).
