This month Dorsal has chosen to tell you about Casa del Mattress, one of the most historic bedding specialty stores in Bergamo that stands out for its sartorial attention to its customers, the result of long experience in the field and high knowledge in the field. Open since 1957, it is a family store run by Roberto Mazzoleni and his wife Raffaella together with their daughter Paola and two employees Davide and Stefano.
The atmosphere is that of a large family where, as soon as the customer enters, he or she is welcomed and accompanied to the choice of the best bed System by evaluating the characteristics of each person.
"My father began the craft as an upholsterer making mattresses from wool and horsehair," Roberto explained, "a craft performed by a team of seamstresses. From then until today we have alternated in the family in this work, and now this is the generation in business always in the historic premises." A beautiful story of family and entrepreneurship.
"Ours is the most historic mattress store in Bergamo," he specified, "those who come to us can count on our half-century of experience and knowledge in bed Systems. The fact that my father was a craftsman has given us specialized knowledge even on the mattress production part, which enriches our background and makes the work attentive to every aspect. On the other hand, our current job of selling mattresses and bed bases (with legs) is also a tailor-made job, made to measure for each customer."
With Dorsal, the collaboration began a long time ago. "We have been dealing with Dorsal products since 1985," explained Roberto. "The collaboration has always been excellent, because Dorsal is a reliable company and with it, over the years there has been a fruitful exchange of ideas. A 'ping -pong' collaboration of which we are proud and for which we thank the Moretti family, which has also been able to listen to our advice."
A historic store but able to renew itself. In fact, recently introduced in the showroom is the new DEP, Dorsal Experience Point, which is a corner dedicated to Dorsal products where you can try all the comfort of bed bases, mattresses and pillows and discover the qualities of the made-in-Italy brand, the only one to have been chosen and recommended by AIFI (Italian Association of Physiotherapy) for ergonomics and attention to people's health.
"The new layout is very pleasant, fresh," he commented, "one can try different models of mattresses, bed bases (with legs), pillows and Textile Beds. Each customer is advised in choosing their ideal bed System based on individual characteristics and desires."
"But the Dorsal mattress that I personally love the most," he added, "is the Suite 360 with FT22 mattress cover and softcare topper, for a complete feeling of all-around comfort.
Attention to customers, as mentioned, is not lacking. "We often carry out an inspection at customers' homes to understand," he explained, "what support and mattress they sleep on. On these occasions we realize that people are often not properly supported in the purchase of a mattress and bed base (with legs), perhaps because the purchase is not made in a specialized store like ours, and this often makes people choose the wrong products that compromise their quality of sleep. Instead, for us, customers' health and well-being come first, and we care that they rely on our experience and advice."
