On our journey to discover the best Dorsal Natural Rest Specialists around Italy, this month we stop in Lombardy. We are in Orio al Serio (Bergamo) and the store we are going to get to know most closely is Arredamenti Moioli. Doing the honors for us is Lara Moioli, the young owner of the showroom.
Can you tell us the history of your store?
Our store is 41 years old, it was opened in 1976 by my father Maurizio. We have always sold home furnishings and we also have an in-house carpentry shop, a historical business also the
grandfather and great-grandfather were carpenters. But from my family I not only inherited this business, but also a lot of passion and love for doing things well. Today, it is I who carry on this dream cultivated by my father with great enthusiasm and will.
What relationship do you have with Dorsal?
We have been cooperating with Dorsal for about 20 years. At first the exhibition space dedicated to Dorsal products was small, then over time it grew until today we can boast about 80 sq. m. all dedicated to the
dorsal products.
What are the Dorsal products on display?
We carry all Dorsal products with a focus on the latest products such as Suite Spa mattresses and Greener. We always try to be up-to-date and, gladly adhere to all the initiatives that Dorsal offers us, such as the FisioDorsal days where we invite a physiotherapist expert in sleep physiology to advise our customers on the best bed System. A free consultation that our customers really like, eager to understand which bed System is ideal for their characteristics.
What do you like about Dorsal as a company?
We like the care with which he creates and packages products. We like it because it makes us feel part of the company. We have been working together for many years now, more than 20 years, and we can consider ourselves as part of the same big family. We also really appreciate the attention he pays to the naturalness of all his products, both mattresses and bed bases (with legs), all of which are now made from FSC-certified environmentally sustainable wood.
With respect to these environmental certifications obtained by Dorsal, what do you think? Do customers appreciate this attention to the environment?
For us, wood is a "family" thing. Our store, as mentioned, has always had a small in-house woodworking store, so we know and love wood. Precisely because we know it, we have respect for it and care deeply about preserving it. So we are happy that Dorsal has obtained, first in Italy, the FSC certification on anatomical bed bases (with legs). We fully share this ecological choice and we believe that more and more people will be attentive to these issues related to the preservation of the planet. With Dorsal there is complete harmony: their nature-conscious philosophy is also our philosophy!
Is there any particular anecdote, perhaps from any customer who has been satisfied with a Dorsal product or who has solved a problem related to their sleep or posture thanks to Dorsal?
A loyal customer of ours came to buy some of the furniture for his home from us. Even bed base (with legs) and mattress. The choice for him was very important, because he had been suffering from insomnia for several years. So we recommended that he try the bed System in the store for at least half an hour. Our recommendation was a GrandSoleil mattress with Thermic Air Flow mattress cover. The customer was more than satisfied so much so that he phoned us to tell us that "now the night is like sleeping on clouds." And he also revealed to us that he will now really struggle to go on vacation, because the way he sleeps on his Dorsal mattress he doesn't sleep well anywhere else anymore. When he visits us, he always repeats, "The best investment he made for my house is the Dorsal mattress." A great satisfaction for us, who really do our work with great passion!
Is there any particular service you offer to customers?
We believe that testing a bed System is essential, in addition to the normal in-store testing, in some cases we give a mattress free trial for a week at home so that the customer can really get a sense of what it is like to sleep on it.
