Can you tell us the history of your store?
In the 1950s my maternal grandparents came to Matterello from Veneto and moved their wool carding business right here. Then the business grew and they began to produce in-house quilts, wool mattresses and traditional spring mattresses. The maternal grandparents were succeeded by my parents Vittoria and Aldo, who are still with the company today. Thanks to their wealth of experience and knowledge passed down, today Patiflex is a specialized bedding company that, having produced mattresses and quilts herself for many years, has specialized knowledge of processing and materials. And it can best advise customers on which bed System is best. This is our wealth: in-depth knowledge and experience on all products related to the world of rest.
Have you known Dorsal for many years?
Yes, we know Dorsal initially for its bed bases (with legs). We were looking for quality products and approached Dorsal. Then, when it started to produce mattresses as well, we chose to focus on this very company, and in our store, even today there is a wide assortment of Dorsal products.
Why did you specifically choose Dorsal?
Initially it was at the forefront especially in bed bases (with legs), then we were fascinated by the fact that it proposed, first in Italy, a foam of vegetable origin such as sunflower oil. In general, we find that its products are made with raw materials of the highest quality and are carefully designed, even with the collaboration of physical therapists from AIFI (Italian Association

In the store, what Dorsal products do you keep?
We have a wide range of products, in particular in recent years we have sold elixir and zefiro well.
What happens at the time of mattress testing?
Meanwhile, the Dorsal testing area is very relaxing, thanks to the kind of curated set-up that conveys tranquility: the forest poster, the wood, the colors... Then, once we have the mattresses tested, immediately the customer feels a difference. Dorsal's quality can be felt. Even the new Suite Spa and Greener mattresses immediately feel very comfortable. In general, there is a very good job on the mattress covers, which always look pleasant and aesthetically refined when tested.
