This month we want to tell you the story of the Dormire is stores, which we have selected for you as Dorsal stores for this month. Our journey makes a stop in the province of Lecco. Opening the doors of the two showrooms, one of which has recently been renovated, are Daniele and Rosaria who run the business together with their families of collaborators: Letizia, Luca, Andrea.
Can you tell us the history of your store?
We started in 1986 inventing a type of store, which in our geographical area between Lecco and the neighboring province of Bergamo, did not exist. We immediately chose to focus on ergonomic and natural products, specializing precisely in bedding.
Have you known Dorsal for many years?
We started working with Dorsal about 25 years ago. We selected it because it was the first company to offer wooden slatted bed bases (with legs) with certain characteristics and quality, as well as the first also to offer mattresses made of naturally derived foams.
What do you think about Dorsal?
Dorsal is a company that is very attentive to ergonomics, quality of materials, and provides many warranties to consumers about the materials it uses. It is a serious and attentive company that has been working for years with the Italian Physiotherapists Association (A.I.Fi) precisely to design effective rest products that are mindful of human health. In addition, in recent years it is paying more and more attention to the use of sustainable wood from forests where replanting is practiced: another feature that distinguishes it from its competitors. A natural philosophy that has always belonged to us and of which we feel ourselves to be, in our geographical area, somewhat of the forerunners.
With respect to the environmental certifications obtained by Dorsal, what do you think? Do customers appreciate this attention to the environment?
We, already more than 30 years ago, bet a lot on the discourse of natural products and that they were environmentally and human health friendly, so we share Dorsal's philosophy and strongly propose it to our customers, who value quality products.
In the store, what Dorsal products do you keep?
We have created, in our recently renovated showroom, a Dorsal corner, recognizable by the forest graphic, where we display a little bit of all Dorsal products. In particular, among mattresses we prefer the Grand Soleil line. Wide space is also given to all types of slats, from the simplest to the most technological.
Is there any particular anecdote, perhaps of any customer who has been satisfied with a product or who has solved a problem related to their sleep or posture thanks to Dorsal?
Those who buy Dorsal, especially the most high-end products, remain very satisfied with our advice and come back to buy Dorsal bed systems for other family members as well, or recommend them to their friends in turn, in a sort of word-of-mouth referral. This is because thanks to Dorsal it is possible to sleep better and solve some problems related to sleep or poor posture. For example, recently one of our customers bought his second Dorsal mattress (the first one he bought several years ago) and he also brought his newly married daughter to buy a Dorsal mattress and bed base (with legs), won over by the quality of the product.

Dormire is showrooms are located at 19 Via Ugo Foscolo in Lecco Olate area and at 114 Corso Bergamo in Lecco Chiuso area and follow the following hours: they are open Tuesday through Saturday every day from 09:00 to 12:30 and from 15:00 to 19:00. On Mondays they are open in the afternoon from 15:00 to 19:00. Closed on Sundays (except during the Christmas season).
